"Reel" Life

  1. My most favorite movie would have to be I Am Legend. From the first time I watched it when I was around eight, all the way up to now, I still am in absolutely love with that movie. I don’t really know exactly why I love it so much, but I have a thing for more serious, intense movies. The great thing about I Am Legend is that it makes you laugh, cry, and jump in fear all within the time span of a couple hours.
  2. The type of movies that I absolutely hate would be comedy movies; movies that are produced with a comical intention. Those movies are never funny to me, well, almost never funny to me. I do enjoy Dumb and Dumber, White Chicks, and a couple other stupid movies, but for the large majority, I can go without. The reason for my hatred of these movies is due to the fact that because they try to be funny, they are never funny. My sense of humor is more sarcasm and irony with a twist of darkness rather than laughing at some guy running face first into a wall on purpose.
  3. I used to watch movies daily when I was in middle school. Both of my parents are big movie buffs and love to wind down with a different movie every night, so I used to join them. Even back when I did watch movies all the time I never really went to the movie theater, most of my watching took place either at home or a friend’s house. The only time I ever see a movie in theaters is if I am actually genuinely intrigued by the trailer and want to watch the movie. Most of the time I’d rather stare at a wall than watch a movie, I don’t know why.
  4. I used to watch the same movie literally fifteen times in a row and never get tired of it, and I would watch movies for hours by myself. Now, I rarely want to watch a movie and when I do I have to have someone with me or else I will want to quit watching it half way through. Whenever I go to the movie theater I like to get some kind of sour candy, and popcorn and a drink. I love getting for at the theater.
  5. The survey said I was extraverted, agreeable, conscientious, emotionally stable, and open to new experiences.
  6. If my life story was made into a movie I would want actresses who look like me at the varying stages of my life and are able to act with real emotion. The beginning would start with my life in Kansas, and then my middle school years, high school years, and then my early life. Hopefully the ending would be happy.

  1. Have you read the book I Am Legend? I remember one of my students years ago being really into it, before the movie came out. I can't handle him losing his dog...heartbreaker!
